  1. NcFTP - Where to get

  3. The main place to get NcFtp is 
  4.     cse.unl.edu     /pub/mgleason/ncftp
  5. Take a look in the directories around it, since they have some good
  6. stuff as well. Here is an excerpt from the Readme of that sight , which
  7. explains the limitations on access to the site:
  8. **  Please be courteous to the people working on this machine by ftp-ing
  9. **  after business hours. Permissions are turned on and off automatically
  10. **  each day by cron, so you will be able to download from this directory
  11. **  from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, American Central time during the work week,
  12. **  and anytime on Saturday and Sunday. (If for some reason, during that
  13. **  time period the file permissions are still turned off, send mail to
  14. **  mgleason@cse.unl.edu. This does happen occasionally.)

  16. **  If you were invited by me to download, you may do so during business
  17. **  hours. If I forgot to set the permissions, drop me an email and I will
  18. **  turn them back on (until cron turns them off again at 8am the next day).
